i used to self harm and tried suicide a few times and let me tell anyone and everyone out there who needs it, it does get better. it doesn’t feel like it in the moment, but i can promise you, someday it will get better and you are strong enough to get through it. you woke up today, and waking up can take strength in the midst of suicidal thoughts. i’m proud of you. don’t give up.

Normalize saying "that's not something I can help you with." Normalize saying "I don't have the time/energy to help you with that right now." Normalize saying "right now I have to focus on my own mental health." Normalize establishing healthy boundaries whenever they're needed.
